SMI’s Eye Tracking platform is based on a complex set of high-dimensional eye model algorithms derived from two decades of experience in eye tracking. It provides highly accurate real 3D data such as gaze vector and eyeball position, a calibration free user mode with a “works with everyone” robustness including a fully automatic drift (slip) compensation to allow users to move or take on/off the headset without data quality impact.

The C/C++ Software Developer Kit makes eye and gaze data available in real-time, such as eye position and eye to screen distance. SMI supports seamless integration into a broad range of VR engines such as the WorldViz Vizard, Unity and Unreal.
