Alongside PC-based technology, SMI provides its own DSP-based technology as reliable, cost efficient, modular OEM vision components. Several generations of these DSP boards have been developed at SMI and successfully implemented in industrial practice over the past decade.

EyePCi, the main DSP platform, features:
