Gridded AOI’s are extended density map visualizations similar to heatmaps, however with quantitative information and more statistical parameters to choose from.
With gridded AOIs, you can use a variety of statistical eye tracking measures (sequence, dwell time, fixation count, subject count etc.) at a glance. In addition, the individual gaze behaviour can easily be exported as scan path strings (DNA sequence) in order to analyze scan path similarities between individuals.
With Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Gridded AOIs, SMI BeGaze 2 software features two exclusive visualizations that combine qualitative and quantitative data in a comprehensive and meaningful way.
